Bridget knew immediately that here dad hadn’t done the wrapping himself. It was way too neat. Her dad, Nick Grant, owned Lingo, a big technology company in Cyber Hills. He was great a developing cool new gadgets. But simple things like wrapping a present or kicking a soccer ball always baffled him. His assistant Lisa had probably wrapped her present.”

Bridget (aka Bridget Gadget, as her friends call her) loves tech, probably because her dad owns big tech company Lingo in Cyber Hills. Bridget always gets the hot new gadgets before anyone else. Once she gets YouViews, her love of tech grows. YouViews are special glasses that allow you to see things on your phone without looking on you phone. You can see texts, emails, and many more. But once her math teacher announces and upcoming test, Bridget knows she‘s in trouble. She’s been having trouble with the math chapter, and if she gets a bad grade, her dad will take away all her tech, including her new YouViews! So Bridget goes to math genius and Tech Club president, Trevor. She asks Trevor if he will text her the answers, and she can see them on her YouViews, with her teacher thinking the YouViews are just fashion frames. She knows Trevor does not like breaking the rules, so she has to let him borrow the YouViews for the weekend. Trevor is eager to text her the answers after that, because the YouViews have not been released to the public yet. But then more and more math tests keep coming up, and Trevor will not text Bridget the answers unless she gets home YouViews before they are released to the public. Getting YouViews from her dad will be hard, since she already had some. What will Bridget do? Read in Bridget Gadget: Techie Cheater!

I give it a 9.5 out of 10 stars on the marianarchy scale. I love this book so much because the main character loves tech, so we both have that in common, and she always has some reason for doing something, even if that thing is something bad. The Bridget Gadget series is my new favorite book series!
