Save the Earth!

Hey, blog readers! Today I will be blogging about how to help the earth. As you might know, earth day was last Thursday. Earth day is a day when we try to do things that will help the earth. For example: cleaning up your local park, or donating money to organizations that help the earth and the living things in it. You can do these any day, but earth is kind of a reminder to do them. Some things you can do are saving old scraps of food to use them as compost, or recycling anything you can. But another way to recycle is to reuse. For example: one time we ran out of toilet paper and kept the toilet paper roll then we found other materials and figured out how to make it blast off like a rocket ship. It was really fun! But it also helped the earth by reusing the toilet paper roll. Another example is the time I cleaned out my closet. When I found clothes that didn’t fit me, I put them in a bag. Later, I cut them up and made doll clothes out of them. (Below I am going to add photos of the models in their new clothes.) These are just a few ways that I helped save the earth so that future generations will still have a world as good as ours, maybe even better. You can too! Just remember, just by recycling a small piece of plastic can make a big difference.
