This book gives a message about stereotypes in a way that kids can understand. It will say that girls like this and boys like that. But then they’ll say my new favorite sentence. “Except when they don’t.” they’ll say. So true! I love blue! And I like wearing jeans with holes in them outside, running around and playing sports. If anyone ever says “You’re just like a girl! You do girl things and where girl clothes!” don’t believe them. Tell them: “There is no such thing as a girl or boy color of outfit! Everything is for everybody!” Because it’s true! Everything belongs to everybody! I haven’t read I picture book that I’ve loved as much as this in a very long time. I hope you enjoy it!
